I was told today that if products are imported from China to Hawaii, they must first go through the port in Los Angeles and back to Hawaii. Is that true?

Yes, that is true. That's why China stuff takes 27 days to come to Hawaii, it sits in the LA customs port for 2 weeks.

I got the same email today. I saw a bunch over at Windward this morning! The wheels look like 20"s to me.

Yeah. There were a couple of the white ones up on the racks and a blue one down in the lot. They look nice but if they aren't 4WD, I'm not interested. They're going to go fast. Whatever they have now is all they are going to have, which was what I was told by one of the sales people.
