I just got a 1987 4runner 22re and im fired-up because i have been looking for one a long time, anyway it keeps stalling when i stop or slow down .
Its hard to start in the morning. but once it starts it idle's fine and i can put it in gear without stalling (its a automatic)
Then after it runs for a few min's it stalls and wont idle and when it stalls it is hard to start back up.
But if i let it sit for a few min's it will fire right back up.
It does run fine as long as i keep my foot on the gas.
I have check for intake leak's (none)
It has a new fuel pump
Timing is good
The idle is set fine
Anyone know what it could be ?
