The passenger seat on my 88 4runner is jammed. It tilts back and forth, but will not slide forward. It's not a big deal but it makes it a pain for anyone to get into the back seats. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this? Thanks

Sounds like the release cable under the seat broke. A fairly common occurance. New cable is around $30 from the dealer.
Some have tried a repair using bicycle cable parts.
I had the same problem with my '87 and replaced the seat release cable (30 something bucks). That and a little grease in the seat track, and it worked like new!
