The rims will fit no problem.
The problem is for a 12" wide rim you want a tire at least 14" wide.
Your're not going to fit a 14" wide tire on there.

i got the rims because i had a set of 31x13.5x15 tires...

one more question... what about 33x12.5x15 would they be a good fit?

if not whats the biggest size you guys think would be the best

Not on a stock truck, and a 12.5 is too narrow for a 12" wide wheel.
The tire should be at least 2" wider than the rim.

the tires i have for the wide rims are 31x13.5x15 mickey thompson baja belted right now i have them on an old set of chevy rally rims w. centers cut out to fit... they are only 10 wide i do believe... right now i did a dry run and they fit fine w. the only rub is on the mud flap but as far fenders and such they is plenty.. but w. the tires on the 12" wide rims is my real concern
