1989 T4R auto transmission swap

Transmission in my 1989 4Runner V6 is bad. Will an auto from a 2005 4runner be compatible? Thanks.

I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure there no compatibility there.

Thanks for the info. The bad transmission is an auto and I am hoping to find another one to install.
