Unfortunately I cannot register the vehicle in BC because of the rust (so the trail rig is out), so it is really only worth for parts. That is where I would like some advice as to what I can expect realistically. Rather than a Corolla I had to buy American because I need a pickup for my farm. I am still a great fan of Toyota though

I was told that the support beamin the front is not safe anymore because of rust and no autobody shop is willing to take my truck on unless I want to spend $$$$ dollars. It has been a good vehicle for me and I am ready to pass it on I guess.

Put it on ebay, but not as a whole vehicle. Take it apart and sell it in pieces if you have the time. There's a guy doing that now with a 4th gen Sport Edition and he's probably going to make far more than he would if he would have sold the vehicle whole.

Why did you not consider a Tacoma or Tundra if your a Toy fan , just wondering
I did get a 2005 Ford Ranger because I needed a truck fast for my orchard. Also there was not a 4Runner, Tacoma or Tundra available in the price range I had in mind.
Maybe I should plant flowers in my old 4Runner and put in in my garden ;-)

I had one, repaired, got f-glass panels from maslack...good prices $350 for rear quarters, $100 for steel fronts, on the same topic I repaired mine My daughter rolled it in the spring, she is OK but it is a write off. Have the tailgate complete that I bought from the states, also the 22ER engine available also complete, throttle body stater and alt, anyone in need?
