1990 3.0 V6 Engine Oil Dipstick

I have a question for someone who knows the actual length of the stock engine oil dipstick for a 1990 3.0 V6.

I have a dipstick, but am getting a dry-as-a-bone reading despite adequate oil pressure on a dash gauge, easy start-up, and no weird noise. I have a feeling a previous owner may have just thrown a dipstick in, as he may have lost the correct one.

I want to be able to get accurate readings, and would like to know the correct length of the standard dipstick for this engine.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. the one in mine is about 1 3/4 feet. maybe 2 foot. how long is yours? I put 2 quarts of oil in mine and checked it and shows that i have none lol
