1990 rebuild ?

Wrecked my 1990 4runner
ice patch v/s guard rail
w/ 150k strong engine
Found this ad 1990 4runner

"The truck has 264,000 total miles. The body is in
great shape. Not sure what is wrong with the motor.
Runs Really rough and has lost some power. But it
still runs. It may run for another year or die
tomorrow not sure."

What should I look for?
I'm going to put my engine in this body.
He wants $1500
Ideas?

I wouldn't be to concerned about the engine since your gonna put your old one in so I'd be concerned about the tranny and ensuring it wasn't in any wrecks. I'd check for body/undercarage rot too.
