Truck details
90 toyota truck 3.0 4x4 5sp
Ok here goes. Just got done replacing the 3.0 motor in the truck due to low compression on 3 cylinders. Well while I was doing the motor went ahead and put in a new Marlin clutch kitand flywheel was turned. Well after it was all put back together and set timing after warm up it would not engage in the gears. It would go in fine when the truck was off but not when it was running.
Bled the clutch system and go no air out. It was shifting fine before I pulled the motor. It almost seems like there is not enough of pressure there to disengage but the fork moves about the same distance when pressed as my 4runner.
Tried several times to bleed the clutch system and still the same effects. SO I pulled out the trans to check the clutch set up. Everything looks normal. Clutch fork moves freelyon input shaft. The owner was saying it was popping out of 1st gear some and the shifter is slightly loose due to the bushings are gone out of the shifter. But it was being driven around a few months the same way and the only thing that was changed was the clutch.
So after the trans was pulled the input shaft has some movement left to right and up to down. Could the input bearing be worn out causing not to be able to put into gear?
