1990's Toyota quality

I was at the rifle range today and decided to test my electronic locking rear differential (ELRD) in my 1998. After 10 years of ownwership, an never having used the ELRD...it worked without any problems. Toyota quality of the 90's!
I hope my 2010 TE holds out like this.

I've had to fix and replace a few things on my Runner. Some to be expected. Others, not so much. But, the overall quality has been excellent. Except for the two times when I've had a dead battery, everytime I've turned the ignition in my truck it has started right up and gotten me from point A to point B.

me, too it's the newest 4runner that i'm keeping my eye on. if it holds up like our 3rd gens i'll be driving one of those in a few years, i'll still kepp my 3rd gen as i think they will be desirable as long as some are left running somewhere, but the 4th gens hold no interest to me and plan on skipping that 8 year period of production all together, lol
