1991 4runner driver side rear door window

my door window will roll down but not up. I've changed the master swich and the door swich, the master swich does nothing at all, the other doors work fine. The motor is good i can reverse the wire and it will go up

If both switches are good and the motor is good, the problem may be in the wiring.

Thats what i was afraid of i was hoping i was missing somthing diden know if it could be in the fuse panel

Definitely sounds like a wiring problem if you can get it to go up by switching the wires.

Mine was doing something similar, but it was because one of the gears was broken. Fixed it by cutting off another tooth, then JB welding it in between the last 2 remaining teeth. Now the window only goes "most" of the way down. I comes back up now though :wink2:
