Just replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor and fuel filter. Still not running quite right. Runs a little rough and i have been tol to replace the fuel pump since i have about 150,000 miles on it. There is a ticking when i accelerate i think coming from the injectors. Any advice on this? Has anyone replaced there air intake with a K&N kit? if so are you happy with the results?

Thanks

Have you tried reading the diagnostics system? Perhaps some sensor is not working properly.

I once had a similar problem with my 91 V6, found out that the only problem was that there was missing cooling fluid. Added that and voila, everything fixed. Never found a good explanation what caused this but it was fine after I added the cooling fluid.

The tick could be from the injectors. You could use a wooden stick and put that against the manifold and put your ear up against it and check if the tick comes from there, it gives a bit of information on whats goin' on. Have you tried injector cleaner on the motor?
