1991 - Good Price??

Seems a little high priced for me. But I like manuals.

However, from the pics it does not seem to have any "visible" rust. Interior seems good. I think this may be a heavily reconditioned vehicle. Seems too clean.

I am a little far to give an on-site assessment, but I am wondering if the price is worth the drive.

I'd sell my 93 for half that price, but it's not nearly as clean. I wouldn't pay that much for it though. Clean or not, it's a ~19 year old vehicle with a butt-load of miles. There are better deals to be had.

Yeah, the truck is very clean...which is a tough find these day. It is probably a tad high on price, but then again, it looks like as close to new as one could find given it's age. I guess you just have to weigh your priorities.

that is a pretty clean 91 and the miles are not that bad. If I was in the market for that particular runner, I would pay between 4 and 4500 for it. Depending on whether it has any mechanical issues.

It's still about $1500 more than high KBB private party price. In todays economy I wouldn't pay anything close to that unless you just had more money than you know what to do with.

You can not make an evaluation on rust from those pics, especially frame rust.
And frame rust is it's biggest enemy. They rust from the inside out, and by the time you can see it, it's really bad. You have to go over the entire frame with a small hammer or similar tool.
Add to that the fact that you're in the rust belt, you need to be careful.
