Hello everyone, I have a problem my son just bought a 1991 T4R with 200000 miles the top end been rebuilt have receipts.Ran great when he bought it couple days ago i took it for a ride and notice the oil pressure guage was reading low low and shaking at an idle.So i kept an eye out that day and the guage would go up and down then stayed down for the hour of driving around town. got it up to 55 or so and seem to run ok exept at an idle. Oil been change a week ago and oil is at the full mark. temp guage is in the middle not getting hot. What should i do or start at.

What engine?
Why was the top end rebuilt?
Have you checked to see if the ECM has stored any codes?
What does the exhaust look like?

Low oil pressure at idle is common in the 3.0L. However, it should rise when RPMs do.

As for rough idle, could be anything. Vaccum, Ignition, Exhaust, etc.
