1992 v6 tranny questions

Hey guys,

I will admit I don't know squat about the 5 speed in my truck besides it is broken :cry2: What years will fit in there and what is the transmission model? Like an 883 is a mopar, t-10 is a chevy, I have no idea what model is in mine. If there is an online resource I have not been able to find it yet, but I know my google-fu is not strong :nono: so pointers would be nice. And if anyone has a trans near Harrodsburg, Ky :biggrin2:

If it's 4WD you have a R150F trans.

Yes it is a 4wd, sorry I forgot to put that in there. So I have a R150F transmission, what years of the R150F will fit the 92?

Any R150F from a 4WD 3.0 V6 from 88-95 should work.

What is the normal going price for a used R150F? I am looking for one but have seen asking prices anywhere from $200 to $900 for the same transmision and all of them have been 150k plus miles on them.
