1994 4runner alarm issue

I was attempting to jump start my 1994 4runner the other night. I managed to reverse the wires. Yup, felt really good about that. Anyway, I replaced the battery and a blown EFI fuse (the only blown one I could find) and attempted to start. Nothing.
I flipped the valet switch (under the dash) for the alarm (factory installed) with the key in the Start position. The horn gave a very short honk and the alarm light in the dash blinked 3 times. There was a several second pause, then It repeated the short honk and flashing until I disconnected the battery.
I'm not sure how to proceed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Maybe a blown fuse that I was unable to locate?
I bought this truck new and haven't had ANY trouble with it until my bone-headed jump start attempt.
First time poster.
Thanks!

Just curious as to why you flipped the valet switch. Do you always need to do that in order to start? I doubt you blew the fuse for the alarm. More than likely when you reversed the jump start you basically reset the system. Do you have the manual? If all else fails I would yank out that alarm.
