1994 [Fan Blowing problem]

Leather Seats
Power Windows/Locks
Power Moonroof
CD Player

The question/problem I have is regarding the fan blowing controls. It does not work on the levels of 1, 2, 3, but works on the highest blowing level. Will this be rather expensive to fix or would it be possible to do myself? Is it a fuse issue?

Any information would be much appreciated!

I had the exact same problem on my '89 pickup. When I first got it, 3 and 4 worked, then only 4. The fuse wasn't the problem. Try replacing the switch, that did it for me, but you should test the whole circuit with a multi-meter to find the "bad spot". It could be any number of things.

Thanks for your advice. I am rather new to car repairs, but my dad and brother are quite savy when it comes to car/truck repairs.

What "switch" are you referring to? And where does one find a "multi-meter"? I'll speak to my dad and brother as well. Again, thanks for any help!
