I just purchased a 94 4runner with the hopes of a reliable vehicle, and I am starting to encounter a few problems. First off the truck is a 94 3.0 3VZE v6 Auto 4x4. The other day, I had a problem starting it I went to turn it over, and got just a single click/bump about 5-6 times, and then it started right up, has started fine ever since. I thought that it may be the starter contacts needing to be replaced. Yesterday coming home from work, the CEL came on and threw out error code 25 indicating running lean. Anyone here have any suggestions on where to start, and if these two problems may be related? I was planning on getting it smogged, but its looking like its out of the question for a while.
