My 1994 Toyota 4-Runner is kinda slugish. When it comes to hills and stuff it doesnt really like to go up them. I had a mechanic look at it and he said the compression is good. So what else could it be, or is that just how they are? And what can i do to help the situation

Odds are nobody responded because you told us nothing about the specs of your 4Runner 4cyl or V6,Auto or Man?

Let us know what you got there.:)

Well, I'm not sure what you mean. you have to describe it better. When I'm in fourth and I get a hill ofcourse its not the easiest thing, but when I'm in first I'm sure a mountain couldn't stop me. Especially with 4 low.... so I'm not sure what you mean. Elaborate.

It gets to the point that when I get to a Hill I have to shift into 1st to get up it. It does great 4 wheeling thats not a problem for it. But like if I took a turn onto my street and tried to keep going in 2nd my car kinda vibrates like it doesnt want to do that. Plus what kind of gas mileage do you usually get?

Well you got the 3.0L slow V6 your lucky to have the man tranny the auto is worse. There is not much to do to it unless you want to dump a bunch of $ into it. Not worth it.

Live with it or do a 3.4L swap.

As far as MPG don't get much more then 14-16 on 87

What size tires do you run? The bigger the worse for speed and MPG.

BTW nice color
:D

i have thirty ones
i was getting like 13 miles per gallon, then i put a fuel injector cleaner in it, which seemed to help a little, then i put a fuel additive wich took me up to 14.7 mpg. What else could i do. I plan on cold air intake, what do you think about a throttle body spacer?

Give you little to no gains/not for the money

Maybe a good tune up would help.

You are getting the average for our engine.
