1995 Front Suspension Job

Hi, I have a 1995 T4 SR5 V6 Auto which needs a new Lower Suspension Arm. I live in NY state, and the salt on the roads has caused the front suspension to rust out. The Lower Suspension Arm just broke literally in two. My question is this ... has anyone here ever re-built the front suspension on a classic T4R ?
Is it a royal pain ? I'm hoping it's not too bad, assuming I can find a decent front end at the junk yard. Any ideas or pointers welcome. Thanks in advance.

This is in general but with the right tools and on a normal car no, even if you dont have a press for the bushing it's still not bad. With that said, when you are working on a car that has lived up north you are in for a pain in the ass. You will break bolts you will bleed and you will get pissed. Personally take it to a shop it's not worth the trouble of dealing with it yourself. Also I would go through and complelty replace control arms and other little parts. Rust will weaken parts and weak suspension parts you don't want, way to dangerous.
Now if you are going to do this yourself use a lot of pb blaster, when I say alot I mean a lot. Oh and a torch will always make it easier. Good luck if you are doing it yourself.

its a 95, oops - I'm in the wrong area aren't I ?, its a 2nd gen

I'll have to see if theres anything in the local junkyard, I hate salt on roads

yeah salt roads suck for sure, so does the beach; thats why i never drive my runner on it. my brain would probably being slowly trying to kill me everytime I drove on a salted road, just because. But hey, sometimes you cant escape it.
