What's with the trend these days to go with square-chunks-o-steel always painted black for serious off-road winch-mountable bumpers?? And this mono-moneysaving-chromatic paint trend from the manufactures stinks too!

Show me a roundy (ie. similar to vehicle it's going to be mounted to) bumper that's capable of housing a 12k lbf winch and is nice and shiny, I'll beat down your door with a stack o paper twice as high as what you'd want for old black flatty.

Unfortunately the rounded part of the bumper hinders it's off road protection. The wider square sides are actually extensions of the rock sliders. This bumper is designed to take a sever beating, not to win car shows. Form follows function.
