1996 4runner Sway Bar Bushing

I just purchased a set of sway bar bushing(27mm) from a Ebay store, but they don't fit into the my 1996 4runner 4WD LD stock bushing braket. The stock bushing seems slightly smaller than the 27mm that I purchased.

Which is the right size 27mm or 26mm?

Anybody knows an aftermarket bushing for 96 4runner 4wd?

I ran into this when I was trying to switch out my bushings on my 98 4Runner. I ordered some from Energy Suspensions, and they were too big. When I talked to the guy (who's been working there for 20 years or so), he said that they should fit right into the stock bracket. But there is no way that they'd fit. I even tried shaving some material off of the bushings, but still no go.

I believe when I measured the sway bar size, it came out to be like 26.1 or something like that. Anyway, I gave up and just got some OEM bushings from a local Toyota dealership. Fit perfect.

i used oem ones..The old ones lasted 75k+ and they fit perfect....
