Okay so i've been driving my 4runner for a good while having to "bump shift" because I'm just your typical broke high school kid with no money and with what i do have goes to gas. anywho, i'm very skeptical on whether to try and buy a wrecked runner transmission or whether to rely on the computer codes for check engine which tell me the transmission solenoids are bad. ive heard that doesnt always fix the job and I really dont want to dish $200+ on somethin that doesnt work. Any suggestions/help/tips are appreciated...
