1997 4-runner headlights !!

I have a 1997 4-runner for 6 years now ,
Never had a problem with anything !! started last month with the headlights come on all by themself (just the headlights) what could be the cause ??
I replaced the headlight switch ,headlight relay,and have the auto -start checked out .

I don't think that the 97's had DRL's since my 98 doesn't.

if you live in Canada it does, my 96 has DTRLs.
