1997 4Runner Questions

So I have a all stock '97 4Runner SR5. Im looking at doing a lift kit and some different wheels. For the wheels I think Im just gonna go with the 17" wheels off a 2005 tundra and get them all done in black. Any suggestions for tire sizes? Also any suggestions for a lift kit? Anything helps, Thanks!

Let the mods begin.

Look in the 3rd gen section. There is a write up/sticky about different kinds of lifts with pros and cons.

Cant say anything about the wheels. I'm still running the stock 16" split rims that came from Toyota.
