1997 4runner upgrades

Hello all! I am a new owner of a 4runner and I was very pleased to find this site! I got my 1997 4runner with the intentions of off roading with it. However, the more I look for upgrades, such as suspension, armor, bumpers etc I am finding that the whole world seems to only provide parts for jeeps... This is fairly frustrating to say the least. If anyone has some good sites or advice for finding 4runner upgrades it would be greatly appreciated. I am relatively new to off roading so any help or advice is needed!! Thanks in advance all!

Check the Sponsored vendors, they have all kinds of nice stuff.

For lifts: Toytec, sonoran steel.
Skids: budbuilt, Lil'skips
Bumpers: too many to list

Thanks mate!! I am located in Orange county, so not exactly a heavily off road populated area! Alright awesome I will check them out thanks a ton! Stupid question but like I said I am new to off-roading. If I got a good lift from toytec would that give me a lot more flex for crawling??

Check out the 3rd gen section. There is a 3rd gen lift and FAQ near the top of the page. That should be a good start. Also if you look at the 3rd gen builds that can give you lots of ideas on how to spend money on your 4runner. and finally use the search feature and just type in what you are looking for. This usually gives me lots of great info.
