1997 SR5 Turbo

Has anyone ran a turbo system from a stock non-lifted -tire size 285/75/16?
What other realistic upgrades are advised other then brakes? ..haha

Correct me if I'm wrong anybody, but from my understanding on 4runners its less expensive to supercharge it and you get more out of it. In fact i don't even think you can buy a turbocharger for a runner.

Yeah, somebody may make a turbo out there for our engines, but the TRD supercharger is the best option we have for extra power. Anything else I would be wary of. BTW 4runwinchicago, are you sure you're running 285/75/16s on a non-lifted 4runner?

wouldnt you want the low end though? i wouldnt wanna have to rev up just to get that turbo rollin.
