Just a quick question for you experts. My 1998 4runner has been overheating lately and I have checked the obvious....coolant and that is fine. When it does overheat I am able to bring the temp back down for a little while by running at a higher RPM (more throttle, turning off O/D, etc...) Has anyone ever heard of this and what may be a good place to start checking or replacing parts. Excuse my ignorance here, I can fix jets or bass boats but spent no time on trucks or cars.
