Hi, new on here. I have a 1998 runner limited. 186k on it. I have a few issues that concern me that I would like to fix. wonder if y'all could help me out. When i hit the brakes the peddle goes 3/4 down and stops fine, if I give it one pump the peddle goes down 1/2 and stops the same, what could cause this? Second problem most times when I come to stop, after releasing brake there is a clunk in rear end like something is releasing stress ( maybe trans bushing or something in rear brakes. I also have a lot of sag in rear when loaded up. I need new tires ( any recommended? ) Has anyone used dyna beads to balance tires? These are the problems I'm having with truck, I'm willing to stick some money into this thing so any other bang for the buck mods you can think of, I would like to hear. Thank You!

The rear clunk is most likely your driveshaft. I would put some grease in it and it should clear up most of that clunk. The rear sag can be remedied by either new rear coils or a spacer. I'd suggest either 99 Tall coils or OME 906's to add a little lift, so they don't sag lower than the front when loaded up.

Not that many people have used Dyna Beads. A good amount of dedicated wheelers use them in their bigger tires, but more DD's just go with the traditional balancing.
