i have an issues that has me scratching my head.
1998 that posted a check engine light and was having difficulties getting going from a stop, the light was calling out the shift solenoid A.
I ordered up a kit of all 3
and pulled the the pan, replaced all 3 per the directions, bolted everything up, filled the trans fluid to cold full
started up, no check lights, put it into reverse and backed out of the garage and put it into drive and i got nothing. put it back into reverse and nothing.
shut it off and start up and I can get first or reverse for a few seconds then it drops off to nothing again.
i'm guessing that one or more of the NEW solenoids is bad.
unless someone has other ideas?
if I pull the pan again can anyone tell me how do I know if each is working or not?
