My '03 engine bay wiring harness has brittle insulation which is a throwback to the biodegradable-wire era. IMO, electrical problems will take my T4R off the road before any mechanical failure does.

That was what got Mercedes I think, wasn't it soy-based? Very recyclable, very eco, as long as you ignore the scrapping of the perfectly good vehicle the wiring is attached to!
