1999 4Runner Engine & transmission

I'm a new member. Can the 5VZ-FE engine and tranny be removed as a whole unit on my 1999 4Runner 4x4 LTD? Both need some work and I have a complete engine and tranny to swap into it from my salvaged 2000 4Runner 4x4 LTD.

yes if you crank the cherry picker way up and tilt the engine and tranny quite a bit, ive seen it done. might help to drop air pressure out of the front tires so you dont have to raise the cherry picker up so high. but it can be done.
