This is sort of a feeler thread. I have been looking at new tacomas and SERIOUSLY thinking about picking one up. Dealer said he would give me 6250, but i feel i can do better.

About the truck, i list every minute detail about things when i sell it, so there are no surprises.

-1999, 4x4 limited, no-elocker
-Tan leather interior in very good shape.
-Always babied and maintained meticulously, it was under warranty until 2 months ago.
-New starter, and recent fluid flush for winter. Timing belt inspected, was done previously.
-Never hardcore off roaded. Unless you call going down a path to someones house in the country off-roading

Known Issues:

-Electronic climate control sometimes acts up. Just push the button harder during those times and it works again. I got a quote from a company to rebuild it for $149 (can provide info) but it has worked for me for the 2-1/2 years i've owned it.

-Dent in back bumper
-Minor scratches here and there that could be buffed out come summer.

Thats it! Shes a beautiful truck and will only be selling to buy a new tacoma. IFFFF i find the right one at the right price. Drives as smooth as ever and runs beautifully. I have no doubt this will go for another 100k miles if maintained.

No, i havent really "tried" to sell it yet. It will go up on both sites if i get no responses here. I figured i'll give the people on here a chance to buy it first.... cause looking at the prices on craigslist, it'll go quick once i put it up.

BUMP, theres another one exactly like mine on here for 8400.

Willing to work with someone to ship it to wherever you need, conditions apply. (buyer must pay for most of the cost, only a trusted transport company, could have a friend come look at it if you know someone in the area first)

I hate to part with her, because im 100% positive she'll go for another 100k easily..... but theres a dealer here liquidating all the 2010 tacomas during toyotathon. Im looking at a tacoma that has a sticker of 34K, for just over 26k. I couldnt get the same truck used for that.

What is the mileage like (city and highway)..
Tire condition?
When is inspection due and would it pass now?

I have a friend who is may be interested. But we're out in NJ, so it's not like we can take it out for a test drive.

1. I get about 19-20 mpg on the highway, 17-18 city. But I am easy on the truck.

2. Tires are at least 50%

3. I am 100% positive it would pass inspection, although we do not have to pass inspection here in ohio. Do not get the idea that this thing is a piece of junk because of the price. I am only selling this cheap due to the end of the year deals from toyota. If I don't sell in the next 2 weeks, it's going up to $7900 in craigslist/autotrader. Or I will keep it. The truck runs and drives like it is brand new.
