1999 4runner. P0306 misfire fuel injector

Hi everyone. I own a 99 4runner. Which currently has the check engine light on and is giving me a code: P0306. We have narrowed it down to a fuel injector. This is the 2nd one in 6 months. I was just wondering if a fuel injector cleaning would get rid of this misfire?Not the stuff you pour into your car but actually going to a shop and having them do the 3 hour cleaning. Is it possible it is just clogged or does it need to be completely replaced?
