I am going to be replacing the brake pads on my girlfriends 1999 4Runner Limited. Im using parts from Autozone - the "Duralast" Pads as its only about $35 for front and rear pads.

I've done brake pads on may cars before and am pretty mechanical.

That being said, does anyone have any tips or tricks, or anything i should know about heading into this job?

What method is used to push the piston back into the front caliper?

Also, if anyone knows of an online guide to this job, i'd appreciate it!

Yeah, the front brake job is far easier than others I've done. Mainly, because I didn't have to take off the calipers. The only thing you have to becareful of is the retaining springs. Make sure you put them back securely and in the correct manner.

The rear drums...well, if you know what you're doing and have the right tools, should be a simple job, too.
