1KZT engine info

Im looking to see what the difference in power is between the 1KZT and 1KZTE, i know the KZTE has electroninc fuel inject but is this the only reason for the increased power in this engine over the KZT or are there internal differences?

I know one difference in these motors and oddly enough it is called 1KZT for 5 speed transmission and 1KZT-E for automatics. The injector pump works differently from 5 speed to auto and the 5 speed version are nearly impossible to find. I really wanted a 1KZT years ago but ended up giving up on it due to the fact that parts and support in the US is hopeless.

Hah i have a 1KZT sitting in the garage with manual box waiting to go into my MK3 pickup, i was looking for more power out of it before it goes in the truck, i was wondering if the 1KZTE maybe hand a different cam or something like that, i would have tried to get hold of one to scrap some more power.

Pinchers you must be in Canada because it's hard to come by those down here in the states.Other than the mechanical lift pump I don't know of any difference.They are easier to tweak and tune because of the electronics.I turn up cats and cummins all the time with just a laptop.I wish they sold them here but with the 2010 emissions coming it's getting crazy.
