1st 4 runner, needs all redone

she just had a lot of engine work (head gasket, valve stem seals, timing chain, and clutch) but where it has sat so long from the previous owner on 2 deployments the tires are shot. I plan on tearing all the interior out (carpet, headliner, door and quarter panels). there is rust is in the wheel wells on the quarter panels. there is rust in the drivers window colums and somebody just poured calking all in it and around the window. I will begin working on it in a few months once I know exactly what all I need because it has a bad death wobble over 25 mph. but theres no leaks on the drivetrain the motor purs and the transmission is solid! and no rust on the frame either! I paid 1800$ :/ hope I did alright! its a 1986 btw. im at fort stewart us army so when I get time and the correct parts list I will be working on it on a build thread

Is the rust on the door area just on the door frame itself (simply replace door), or on the A pillar of the truck body?

a pillars, its not completely through but I cant see what it looks like under the windshield either. it needs a new windshield and I need to find a seal to go around it when I have a new one installed

I will find out when I pull the windshield and get all the calk removed. I took autobody for 4 years in highschool so im not a newbie but im no pro either. im not sure how I would tackle that but im going to remove the cowl and hood and fenders and doors and fix any rust areas all at once and I may just have to grind inside the a pillar under the windshield to clean it up in there and coat it with something before setting a new windshield in and hope for the best. I need to replace all the front end parts and tires before I worry to much about the rust so I can atleast drive it to the shop on post and back
