So I have been looking for something to pick up this summer to be able to park my Lexus through the winter. Looking at Nissans and Toyotas here and there and seeing whats out there. Last weekend, as my boss was cleaning out some storage, I came across a second gen that was super minty as far as body and frame goes. I was excited to say the least.
So after buying it knowing the motor was shot in in, I drove her home a clackin' and a knockin'. I am really excitied to do some work to this thing (and it needs some for sure!). I would really like some input on what I should look for and replace while I'm putting a motor in it. It has some obvious problems like ripped CV boots in the front and for some reason it wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear as well. The thing is severely down on power and runs very poorly.
Anyway I'll quit rambling about my near future and look forward to my new Toyota community!!

P.S. Its a maroon 1992 3.0 4wd with 202xxx in it and seems decently optioned.
