ODD, different OEM part numbers for the right and left ball joints and at first glance they appear to be the same. Does anyone know if there is a difference?

I picked up some upper and lower for both sides from rock auto. Beck&a's. They are stamped 555. 2 years no problems - another option to oem since they are pricey.

I believe there is no difference, there is no difference for right and left with moog and beck&a. You can try camelback toyota parts catalog

Thanks, I was surprised when I read two part numbers one for the right and one for the left and I see no difference. I just added the ball joint spacers and before I get the alignment I wanted to check the Ball Joints,After 222k they still seam great.

If you're adding spacers I would highly advise replacing all 4 joints 1 for peace of mind and 2 bj spacers add additional stress on your uppers. For 30 bucks a joint - well worth it

That's what I'm doing. Good Sunday project. Also order fittings and Steel braided hose to replace the 28 year old brake hoses. Everything came apart with no issues. From what I could see the original BJ's look like I could have gotten another 50K miles.
