I am considering selling my early 89, 1st gen runner. Thought I would let you guys on this forum know first. It's white, no rust and has full glass on the doors---not the little wing window of the earlier years.
It is running but on the way out. 3.0, auto trans-----it's a candidate for an motor swap and 5 speed. It has a good set of Goodrich 31" tires, of course and a crack on the lower part of the windshield.

Been frustrated lately. Trying to sell the runner and compressor and realized all replies went to spam.

UPDATE: Been getting responses regarding int., is it SR5, AC??
It is as described: int. grey cloth and rough, gray carpet OK but stained.
No AC, NOT SR5, crack on dash.
Great candidate for a project, rebuilt auto tranny should sell for $500, buyer could test it in the vehicle. Body is basically rust free, top never removed, so In that crack where the cab meets the top, possibly a little rust.
San Jose is very dry . It sat in a back yard there for about 12 years.

You might post some better pictures and include some of the interior, motor and undercarriage. You can also try posting on IH8Mud and Yotatech. That seems like a decent start for someone. GLWS.

By the way my '89 has the wing windows and roll ups so I think it's not how old it was. Mine's a DLX and SR5's had full windows. I love the wings.

I like the wings, also. If this vehicle gets modified for off road, the doors could become half doors.
FYI.... a 96 runner just went on CL in my area. Rolled into a ditch, 3.4 engine up for grabs.

Still trying to sell it and taking offers. Car does run, will make it to San Jose , which has a big hill to get over and does fine on flat highway.
The oil leak may have been a loose filler cap. Does not leak any more.
So, best offer over $1100, which is the lowest I will go.

Right now, I just want this to go to a good home where it will be upgraded or repaired. I can get $1500 via the CA buy back program that retires vehicles that can not pass smog.
But, will take $1300 cash from you or a down payment or some kind.
