1st gen 4runner weather strip

Anyone know where I can get a new gasket for my 4runner top. Its the gasket where the roof meets the top. mine is thrashed. When i search all I can find is the door weather stripping. i would like to get one for the tailgate as well.

Try Toyota I buy most all my stuff right from the dealer. I just orderd new seals for my doors.....Good luck

It is best to go in person with a VIN number to speed thing along

Try the dealer first. The same gasket is used from 84-89.
In a pinch you could use the same gasket used to seal pickup truck shells.
Or even the weather stripping used at the bottom of a garage door.

do you think replacing the seals would help with the cabin noise? my cars pretty water tight but it is noisy a hell

also the windows are hard to roll up/down until they heat up

I replaced my door gaskets and that cut down on a lot of noise. I replaced the power window motors cause i had your problem and all is fine now...

just the weather stripping around the glass? or the whole plastic sheet behind the door

around the door frame... I removed that plastic from behind the door panel.
