1st Gen Bumpers on a 2nd Gen...Can it work?

Hello again,

Yes I have searched...

I have the oportunity to get some free Smittybuilt front and rear bumpers for a 1st gen. They need to be sand blasted and powdercoated.

My question is if I can get these to fit the second gen by cutting off the mounting tabs and fabbing new tabs? Is the basic wrap-around shape the same? Has anyone seen this done? Thanks.

i also want i 3rd gen hood for my 2nd gen i wonder if it fits??
