SYLVANIA'S IN AUTO-PAL HOUSING.
Headlight wiring was retrofitted such that power to the bulbs take a shorter and more direct route from battery, through added relay, to bulb and directly back to fender ground in engine compartment.
Stock wiring of 1986 Toyota 4runner headlight is such that ground runs from bulb, over long wire to cabin, to dimmer-combo switch (stalk), back to engine compartment, to fender ground.
