1st gen in the snow

You must have been going downhill to get the ticket. I just picked up an "87 in the same colour as yours. I plan on switching the gray interior for the red one I have now.

Nope. 1st gen = '84-'89 and mine is an '88.
Surprisingly I wasn't going downhill when I got the ticket. I was going 140Km/h but when the cop took the reading I was at 128. The speed limits here in Canada are usually 100km/h on the highways (110 on a few).
I've never had any power issues with the 3.0L V6

There is an oldman that comes to a local golf corse with a red first gen , that is absolutely pristine . I would love to buy it from him.

Just get yourself a none-turbo 2L motor from Tacoma/hilux. You'll never get a speeding ticket again.


Also, nice rig, I had one like that, red one, few years ago, awesome generation.
