1st Gen interchangeable with 2nd Gen?

I have a 95 4runner 4x4 with the 3VZE 3.0 with an auto trans. Possibly looking to pick up a first gen 4runner 4x4 with the 22RE engine and a manual trans. I'm wondering if I can put the manual transmission in my 2nd gen from the first gen. Also is there anything else that would carry over? Thanks.

I'm not sure if you mean put the 1st gen trans in the 95 or viceversa, but either way the answer is no, the 4 cyl and 6 cyl trans are not interchangeable.
