1st Gen radio removal

Pretty simple and to the point... I need to know how to remove the radio in my 87 4runner. Any info will help. Thanks

Super easy. Remove the two side screws on driver & passenger side nearest the radio near the floorboard. Remove ash tray. Remove 3 screws where the ash tray was. Then the plastic bezel just pops out. You have to be careful not to pull too hard cause the cigarette lighter socket will be still attached via wire.

The radio should be held in by 4 screws.

I've done it so many times I can do it in my sleep.
