As some of you may recall, I swapped out my 1st Gen S/C for a brand new 2nd Gen S/C that I bought from a T4R member. ( see build photos )
" Package deal " includes a Grey 1st Gen S/C with a stock pulley, a dynamic tensioner, S/C belt, and URD 7th injector kit minus fuel pump/plugs. The S/C & tensioner approx. 50K miles and 5K miles on like new S/C belt. The used 7th kit was installed in a 99 3.4L Tacoma with approx. 45K miles of use. I decided to stay with my 6th injector kit due to the finer tuning option, so I never installed the 7th.
Prior to the swap, the 1st Gen worked fantastic and produced 6-8psi under normal operating conditions. I reused the mounting bolts in the swap, so you will need to source new bolts from a dealer. As well as vacuum nylon t-fittings and hoses, which you will want to do anyway. To those serious buyers I will send " what you see is what you get pictures"
The URD 7th kit is plug and play. I will include the instructions to install given to me. But depending on your year model, email URD/Gadget for the ECU wiring instructions specific to your year model. If you have an EGR, the 7th injector kit will not work.
Pros/Cons debates are endless on this forum or google it. Do your research before you buy, all sales are final.
In closing, if you're going to s/c, most would agree this package has all the right stuff. With the URD 7th kit, this is a sweet deal that does not come around packaged like this very often. Once you s/c you will wonder why you did not do this awhile ago. The difference in performance is amazing.
