hey all, iv had a problem with my steering ever since i started driving my truck a couple months ago. Every time i make a full left or right turn my truck does this nasty load squeek sound. It sounds like some part of the suspension is stretching out or is rusty (i dont know how to explain it very well??). Anyone know what it could be or have the same problem?? Maybe some part of the suspension needs to be greased as the underbody is pretty rusty. Any help is appreciated.. thanks

So is the simple solution to replace those parts? My 94' makes a horrible sound when I turn it to full opposite lock. If I do replace these parts where would I find them and how much of a pain are they to replace?

nice to have the top off. what do u do when it rains?
lol thats a good question.. every single time i took off the trucks top this summer (about 6-7 times) it started raining a little while after i put it back on. I guess its all luck and checking the weather forecast every so often but i still do get a little paranoid when im driving.

I left my top off all summer long. There are 2 drainage holes under the rear seats that are plugged by little rubber bungs, which you can remove. After all summer of this rough treatment my interior was hurting, so I just got the entire thing redone with marine carpet and waterproof seat stuffing and fabric. It looks great, and now when I have the top off next summer, no worries about the water. And the same guy who did the interior said he could make me a bakini top to cover from the cab over the roll bar for pretty cheap.

i have that same "creak" on my 94 too...im lookin at an OME lift...will replacing the suspension with those parts fix the noise...i want people to turn their heads when im drivin cuz of my stereo or exhaust...not cuz it sounds like the truck is gonna fall apart...
