1st gen stealth stereo install ideas?

Hi,
I have a '86 4runner, in stock condition that I'm looking to put a new stereo system in. Problem is, I use the back area for sleeping in when camping, so space is at a premium - looking for any ideas/pics of how to put subwoofers in the back and save as much space as possible (while still having some decent-to-slightly-ridiculous bass). I've found a few install threads, but they mostly seem to be with 2nd gen-on 4runners. Any links/pics/ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PM me with your email and i will send you complete pics of my sub and extra speakers and stereo installation, i fit, and custom cut a mattress into the back of my truck and can still sleep comfortably, and im six foot even. the matress works out great for bush parties. forget the sober driver, as long as you can make it into the back of your truck you are a-ok.

Pioneer has some great shallow subwoofers. You can place them under the front seats with little trouble. What a great place for them too, you get a lot of the effect you looking for without having to crank them to the moon.

stereo doesn't fit! help!

Accidentally posted this on a 4th gen thread... So after fighting with my wiring for 2 days cuz the power/antenna wire fell out, found where it went, got it all hooked up and running to discover the pioneer stereo I bought is too wide for the install kit or the original plastics with my cig lighter on it. Any ideas? I'd attach the pic but having trouble loading
