Heres my 88. Stock except for K&N filter, high flow cat and straight-thru exhaust, Rancho 9000s, and 33/10.50R15 BFG KM2s. No lift, just a pinch-weld beat back, and no rubbing except when fully compressed at full lock turn.

Did you have to regear to run those tires? is it more sluggish with them on?

No I didn't regear yet, But Im going to when I add a locker. It didn't affect it as much as I thought it would, especially around town. Where I notice it the most is on the freeway at speed. Any hint of an incline and I'm downshifting. The static loaded radius is 16" so to the engine its a 32" tire.

Thanks for the reply man. I'm thinking about getting 33s for my 89 22re but I dont wanna lift it, I already have 31s on there but idk If I want those for a runner thats mainly gonna be used off road. But thanks, this gives me ideas! :thumb3:

Its even less noticeable off-road when ur in 4-Low. Go for it. Just do the pinch-weld mod and u won't have any rubbing. Also I have them mounted on 15x6 OEM rims so they tuck under the fenders and don't throw dirt all over the sides.

Thats brilliant lol. I'm glad you posted a pic man because after seeing it, I want those 33s! and I have 3rd generation rims for it so its a perfect fit.
